ALIA in Tasmania

Your ALIA TAS State Manager

My name is Jill Denholm and I am your Tasmanian State Manager for ALIA.?

I moved back to Hobart after working in Queensland and NSW as an academic librarian at Bond University, the University of NSW and the University of Sydney. I previously worked in Hobart as a CSIRO and special librarian (State Offices Librarian and Forestry Commission librarian) and a public librarian at the State Library.

I am very keen to promote opportunities for professional development, promote positive and productive communication between Tasmanian library and information services professionals and aim to ensure ALIA supports library and information professionals from all sectors in the State.

Feel free to contact me with your ideas, queries, concerns, and/or suggestions. I can talk to you about the benefits of the ALIA professional development program, and the benefits that flow to you or your institution from ALIA personal or institutional membership. I encourage you to come along to the events organised by the ALIA Tas Committee.
