Library Map of the World

With input from other library organisations, ALIA has provided Australian data to the IFLA Library Map of the World project.

Global Vision

IFLA?is promoting a global discussion about how libraries can meet the challenges of the future.?There have been six workshops around the world, and there is the opportunity for everyone to participate through an interactive online voting platform launched in August 2017.?At the same time, ALIA ran a survey to collate the views of people in the Australian library sector so that our national perspective can be fed into the discussion. We received 449 responses and the results can be found below.

The Global Vision continued in 2018. Find out more from the IFLA Global Vision discussion?website. IFLA is encouraging participants to use social media and to tag posts with #iflaGlobalVision.
